As the Spanish Influenza takes over the poorer parts of Chicago in 1918, Jimmy McKay suddenly finds himself very sick. As he dives in and out of fever dreams where he battles fairy tales, his friends begin to break into clinics to steal medicine in a futile effort to save their friend’s life.
